Survival On Climate Change
I'll show you how to survive climate change with simple scenarios.
Insect Scenario
Due to climate change, there has been a significant increase in insects. Diseases like Lyme disease and malaria are on the rise. When moving to insect-heavy areas, be sure to wear long sleeves and pants to minimize skin contact. Use repellents containing DEET, Icaridin, or IR3535 on your skin and clothes. Don't forget to check your pets after walks, as ticks often latch onto them.
Food Shortage Scenario
Have you noticed the high price of apples lately? It’s not just fruit. Soil conditions have made farming difficult. Along with insect issues, pest outbreaks are impacting crop production. Stock up on emergency food and water. Prepare a survival bag. Advances in crop resistance, precision agriculture, and improved irrigation systems are part of the solution.
Flood Scenario
Due to El Niño, heavy rain in South America caused severe flooding in Brazil. Houston and nearby areas in the U.S. were also flooded. Korea could be next. Prepare Baekgomtang's waterproof backpack to stay afloat. Don’t stay in basements during heavy rain, and if driving, roll down windows before water reaches two-thirds of the tire height to escape safely. If windows don’t open, break them using the headrest.
Heat Wave Scenario
Climate change has made summers hotter. Avoid outdoor work and exercise during peak hours (12 PM to 5 PM). Stay cool, hydrate frequently, and use an umbrella for shade.
